Join Sarah Calise, founder of Nashville Queer History, as she discusses the life and legacy of Mr. Charlie Brown with his friend and co-author, Richard Eldredge. Nashville’s Hidden Heroes: Hermes Pan, October 22 at 5:00PM
Dr. André Churchwell, senior advisor on inclusion and community outreach for Vanderbilt University’s Office of the Chancellor, joins Special Collections for the first in a series of panels on Nashville’s Hidden Heroes and Heroines. This first panel will explore the life and legacy of Hermes Pan, a closeted gay man who became Fred Astaire’s main choreography collaborator during the 1930s and ’40s. Free and open to the public.
